I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've been able to write! Things have been pretty insane at the office, and I've been too tired when I get home to be creative... but I'm back bitches!!!!!
There are a ton of subjects I'm planning on touching on over the next few entries, but for today's I want to share a special story about a cat (go figure) named Joey.
Joey was a stray kitten who found himself in the garden of a local news station. One of the employees found him there one morning and brought out some food for him, and that's all it took! Joey found his new home at KTHV Little Rock, Arkansas! He's allowed to roam around the building, and what's more, he's allowed to make special appearances during newscasts. It's not unusual to be watching a report on the upcoming election and then have Joey hop up on the news desk. He also uses the green screen in the weather center as a scratching post.
I saw Joey on the Animal Planet show Must Love Cats (yeah, I'm single ok?) and just knew I had to share his story. He's always around for some snuggles for everyone in the office! Don't worry I'm putting my application in asap.
This is just what I think every news channel needs! With all the bad news going on in our screwed up country, who couldn't use a playful pet popping up every once in awhile to make things a little more lighthearted?
I love it. Way to go Little Rock.
