The grass is always greener on the other side.
At least that's how it seems to me.
I have miserable, frizzy curly hair and I wish it were straight. So I pay an ungodly amount of money to have it chemically straightened.
I'm short-to-average height, so I wear heels to make myself seem taller.
I wish my skin-tone were a few shades darker so I occasionally visit a tanning salon.
So when I decided that my eyelashes could stand to be a little more voluptuous, I sought out the best possible fix! Latisse is a new product that you put on your eyelid where it meets the lashes, and within 30 days your lashes are supposed to almost double in length. The only catch with this (for me) was that it has to be prescribed by a doctor and I stay away from doctors offices as often as I can. They smell funny, there are sick people everywhere, and there's always a bajillion hour wait to actually be seen by the doctor. So I side-stepped this issue by going for the over-the-counter version of this product. NeuLash is basically the same thing, no prescription needed, and you can find it online at Neiman Marcus!
I got this as a Christmas present and just started using it this past Sunday (wanted longer lashes for the spring... duh...) and I'm honestly already seeing results. My lashes already feel softer to the touch, fuller and longer! It says to use it for 30 days straight for best results, so I'm obviously nowhere near done yet, but the fact that after only 5 applications I can see noticeable positive results is pretty pleasing!
So if you're like me and you wish for longer lovelier lashes, try NeuLash! I promise you won't be disappointed!
You may think this post makes me super shallow and appearance-crazed, which I am to a degree, but I'm not consumed by it. I know the only beauty that really matters is within, and I think I do a good job of making that as beautiful as it can be. But there's no harm in trying to make your outside attractive as well, right?
this stuff looks cool!
ReplyDeletejust FYI I've looked into these lash serums and be careful if you are a blue/hazel (and maybe green?) eyed gal, they can make permanent brown spots on the iris of yours eyes :/
Haz dark brown eyes! But if anyone else reads this... LOOK INTO IT!!!
